It takes a BLACKOUT!12. September, 2011|Daily Motivation, General, Life Coaching, Mindset For Success|29 comments
Does it really take a BLACKOUT for people to come together? This past week here in San Diego, we had electricity lost for about 8-10hours which seemed like an eternity since no one is really used to this in California. One person in Arizona was responsible for the BLACKOUT that affected millions of people lives during this escapade where time stood still and people came together like family and managed to connect on a deeper level on the meaning of life! Your World Opens When You Begin To Live A Purpose Driven Life16. November, 2010|Daily Motivation, Law of Attraction|14 comments
I can’t believe how much my life has changed since I started to live with my heart instead of my brain to live a purpose driven life. My whole world has opened up with so much opportunity, meeting all kind of powerful compassionate people. I swear, if I knew what I know now, I would have been living like this my whole life! I understand though, that I had to go through struggles, trials, and tribulations to gain the wisdom I have so adamantly adhered to this past year. It was an unveiling of past struggles I had with social phobia, to empower me now with a love for people that I would have never discovered if it were not for that time of darkness. I tell you, I am so happy I went through my 20 year incarceration of the mind to discover the purpose driven life that has been revealed to me from within. Read more |

The events that are taking place now in our history are clues to what doesn’t work in your life, and what will bring you success and fullfillment in the future. Gone are the days of corporate and personal greed. Do it by yourself, for yourself, is dead! The Universe is telling us that cooperation, collaboration, compassion, and working together towards a common goal is what will catapult you towards acheiving your dreams. If you continue with your old behaviors and old habits such as looking for the same old fuddy duddy JOB ( just over broke), that’s exactly where you will remain…broke and miserable. Read more |
Comfort Zones Are The Barriers To True Empowerment30. September, 2010|Daily Motivation, Goal Setting, Life Coaching, Mindset For Success|11 commentsSo many of us stay in our comfort zones because we are deathly afraid of the unknown. True empowerment comes when you can break through your comfort zone and take a stand when you decide you want more out of your life. This past weekend I had such an experience. You see, as I have shared my story before about my social phobia experience that kept me in bondage for 20 years in my early adult life, I would have rather been run over by a locomotive train before ever getting up in front of an audience to give a talk. That all changed this past weekend as I took on this challenge, and to my shagrin, it was the most passionate and charismatic speech I could have ever delivered, even if I never had a phobia in the past. This was the defining moment in the rest of my life because I am on my way to becoming a master at public speaking to share my passion of helping others change their thinking so they can become the best person they can be. Meditation And Staying In The Present Moment For Being Your Best25. August, 2010|Daily Motivation|3 commentsI must say that through my struggle with social phobia that once kept me in bondage, the one thing that has helped me the most is meditation. Before meditation, my mind would always start thinking about future events and kept me in a state of anxiety. My body would react to the wild and crazy ideas my mind would be thinking of, and I would start to perspire and my heart would start beating at a rapid pace. I tell you, this lead to a myriad of detrimental habits such as consuming alcohol and drugs to control the anxiety and the fears that would consume my being. Imagine, everyday of your life you had such a fear of interacting with people you would rather die. Every time the phone would ring, you would run and hide because you were terrified of interaction on the phone. When your family members came to visit you, you would hide in the house until they left because you were afraid of what they thought of you. Everywhere you went, you were just afraid of people! Do You Procrastinate?17. August, 2010|Daily Motivation, Mindset For Success|3 comments
Procrastination is one of the biggest problems people suffer with on a daily basis! Here a five ways to reduce your tendency to procrastinate. 1) Do the hardest things first- simply put, do the most important things first thing in the morning now matter how hard or boring it is. A good way to start your day is with a big accomplishment that gives you encouragement and energy to carry throughout the rest of your day. It’s a great way to create momentum! 2) How do you climb the biggest mountain? one step at a time. If you think about the enormous task ahead of you, instead of taking it one step at a time, you may become discouraged and give up even before you start. Take little steps and eventually you will conquer the enormous monstrosity you thought you had in front of you earlier. 3) Recognize there is more pain in procrastination than not doing anything at all- if you procrastinate alot to do something that is hard, boring, or mundane, then you procrastinate because you want to avoid that pain. But after you realize you have not taken action to get the task completed, you feel more pain and sorry because you didn’t do what you were supposed to do. Realizing that the pain of not getting the task done is more harmful than just doing it, you realize to take action is the less painful experience. Read more |
