Never before in the history of the world have we seen so many people unemployed since the Great Depression . There are so many challenges upon us that even the governments of the world don’t have a clue on what to do next to keep us from going into a second recession. Personally, I think this all stinks that people who are responsible for the well being of all it’s citizens can’t agree to do what’s right when it comes making decisions that affect us all. Does it really take a BLACKOUT for people to come together? This past week here in San Diego, we had electricity lost for about 8-10hours which seemed like an eternity since no one is really used to this in California. One person in Arizona was responsible for the BLACKOUT that affected millions of people lives during this escapade where time stood still and people came together like family and managed to connect on a deeper level on the meaning of life! Comfort Zones Are The Barriers To True Empowerment30. You see, as I have shared my story before about my social phobia experience that kept me in bondage for 20 years in my early adult life, I would have rather been run over by a locomotive train before ever getting up in front of an audience to give a talk. That all changed this past weekend as I took on this challenge, and to my shagrin, it was the most passionate and charismatic speech I could have ever delivered, even if I never had a phobia in the past.
