Thousands of stuffed toys and animals are a way to soothe sick children after a Dallas man decides to do something good for the hospital who was looking after his son.

Employees at the Dallas-based Integrity Marketing Group launched a holiday gaming campaign for Children’s Medical Center Dallas.

They blew the target of 500 games and amassed over 3000.

The CEO of the company added to it with a surprise donation of $100,000.

It’s all inspired by Brian W. Adams’ 9-year-old son, Asher, who was a recent patient at Children’s Hospital. Adams says he and his family wanted to say thank you, give back, and hopefully bring some joy to patients and their families.

“My son was sick with ‘children’ during a period when their choices for stuffed animals were very limited, and this inspired me to rally our staff for a driving game,” Adams said in a press release. One of the core values of integrity is service – seeing our Integrity family come together to support such a noble cause and exceed our initial goal of 500 games to bring in 3,000 games makes me very proud of our Integrity family. I hope these games bring joy to their patients this holiday season and all year round.”
