Dog Crashes Golf Cart Into Owner’s Car in Hilarious CCTV Footage

CCTV footage captured the unusual moment a pet dog got behind the wheel of a golf cart before crashing into the car right next to his family’s car.

And on top of all that, the dog quietly jumped off the wagon and walked away from the wreckage as if nothing had happened.

The bizarre collision was recorded by a nearby security camera, with the homeowner sharing the clip with TikTok under the handle livingthedriftlife.

The accompanying comment reads “When all the kids deny the new car crashes.” “Good job our CCTV.”

The clip can be viewed here:

The video shows the dog riding the wagon facing the house away from the parked car.

Suddenly he starts accelerating forward before turning left in a perfect arc that ends up smashing the car into the side of the black car.

At the time of writing, the video has been viewed more than 3.7 million times, with fans pouring in to express their disbelief at what was to come.

Bigz1984 said it was less believable than the “dog ate my homework” excuse many schoolchildren have made over the years. “I know I just watched a video of him doing it, but I still can’t believe he did it,” Harrison Taylor commented.

Ashley Diane claimed: “I would have blamed my husband, my neighbor and the pastor before I thought it was the dog” while Dog_are_cute said: “Imagine having to explain it to the insurance company without CCTV to prove it.”

Others liked the dog’s unfazed reaction to everything.

Megan Bleu remarked: “The way he walks is like ‘Okay, I didn’t do that.'” Car_tech_guy adds, ‘Sounds like a human problem and not mine.’

Commenting on their video of living thedriftlife they admitted that they “thought Defoe were the kids” until they watched CCTV’s comeback.

While their dog, named Titan, has been identified as the culprit, the owners don’t seem to be too upset with him.

They joked, “Titan did not choose the life of a thug, but the life of a thug.”

Meanwhile, Straya Station Life referred to it as a “revenge” for all the times “kids blamed the dog”.

Although Titan escaped unharmed, the accident serves as a reminder of the importance of keeping dogs on a leash when traveling in vehicles of any kind.

Research by Allianz shows that in the event of a car crash at just 25 mph, an unleashed dog can be thrown forward with a force equal to 40 times its weight.

This means that a large dog weighing about 75 pounds, for example, would generate an impact force of 3,000 pounds in a car crash—a fatal blow not only to the animal but potentially any occupant.

A dog cheated death after being hit by a car at 80mph after it somehow ended up crammed into the car grill.

It’s not all gloomy when it comes to dogs and cars, like this viral video of a dog trying to “eat” upcoming traffic shows.
