Law enforcement requesting donations for Evangeline Parish animal rescue group

At Evangeline Parish, rescue animals will be given food and blankets thanks to an ongoing fundraising campaign.

The Evangeline Parish Police Office has announced that they will be part of the Christmas dog food and a comprehensive Every Paw Animal Rescue (EPAR) campaign.

People interested in making a donation can drop off items from the ESO Dispatch Office at 415 W Cotton Street. They say donations will be accepted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

It will be compiled until December 22, 2021.

According to EPAR, the Ville Platte Police Department also carries dog food and drive-throughs at Christmas for the parish rescue shelter. Donations can be made at the Vail Platt Police Department.

Drop-offs are also accepted at all Evangeline Parish Public Library locations.
